Aysha is an award-winning illustrator, designer and animator based in South London. She graduated from Camberwell College of Art in 2016 and since then has been working freelance in illustration. Her art combines bold colours and an array of anthropomorphised characters to create vibrant and energetic illustrations.

She has created illustrations for The New York Times, Facebook, The Washington Post, Stella McCartney Kids and Anorak magazine. In 2020, she won the Professional Alternative Illustrations category of the World Illustration Awards.

Aysha is artist in residence for Google’s new London HQ and is working with Great Ormand Street Hospital on the decorations for their new wing.

For her first book, Baboo the Unusual Bee, Aysha set out to have as little white space as possible. A plethora of positive reviews followed publication, including the Observer (book of the month), Creative Boom and It’s Nice That.
