Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is promoted by HarperCollins Publishers Limited (“HarperCollins”), Rocket Bird Books 1 London Bridge Street, London, SE1 9GF.
  2. This prize draw is open to the public in Great Britain (not including Northern Ireland), except employees of HarperCollins (or their parent, subsidiaries or any affiliated companies) and their immediate families, who are not allowed to enter the competition.
  3. This is a competition to win a signed copy of Lionel by Lo Cole and a limited edition print of Doris from the book Doris by Lo Cole. 
  4. To enter: follow Lo Cole, Shelf Editions and Rocket Bird Books, and comment on the competition post with a rhino emoji.
  5. The competition opens on 23rd September 2024 and closes at 11:59pm on 29th September 2024. Entries received outside these specified times and dates will not be eligible for entry into the competition.
  6. Entries will not be accepted via agents, third parties or in bulk.
  7. The winner will be selected at random from the entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  8. The winner will be contacted by Rocket Bird Books or Shelf Editions to seek their consent to use their name and, following the receipt of such consent, may see their names mentioned on HarperCollins and all related social media accounts or in printed materials.
  9. Rocket Bird Books are not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.
  10. HarperCollins and Rocket Bird Books reserves the right to alter the prizes or cancel the prize draw without notice. No cash alternatives to prizes will be provided.
  11. The winner will be contacted by 30th September. If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable timeframe, HarperCollins and Rocket Bird Books reserves the right to select another winner. Rocket Bird Books will use reasonable endeavours to deliver all prizes within one (1) month of the competition ending, however HarperCollins is not liable for any delay in the delivery of any prize.
  12. The email addresses of entrants will only be used for the administration of the prize draw and will not be added to any email marketing lists, unless the entrant selected to receive email communications from us on the competition entry form.
  13. By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  14. These terms and conditions and any disputes or claims (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of these terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
